Mr, Jose Maria ALFIN MARTIN-GAMERO, is the Managing Partner & Founder of FINTAX ANDORRA.

Jose Maria is a lawyer admitted to practicing either in Spain or Andorra. And a member of the Barcelona and Andorra Bar Association.

He has acquired substantial experience in cross-border transactions; international tax; banking & financial law; wealth & estate planning, and it is a prestigious expert in international tax projects such as CRS (Common Reporting Standard) or BEPS. Jose María started his career working for the European Commission in an IT/Legal project. He was for 4 years, working as GC, Risk & Compliance Officer at General Motors RFC with presence in The Netherlands; Germany; United Kingdom and Spain. He has been Global GC at Andbank, having contributed to the great expansion of the Bank passing from 2 jurisdictions to more than 10 nowadays. He later assumed the position of Director of Wealth & Estate Planning for Private Clients.

Jose María is a member of the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors; Andorra Association of Tax Advisors and International Fiscal Association. He works as correspondant for IBFD for tax matters related to Andorra and regularly publish articles in the most prestigious legal & tax magazines such as Chambers; ICLG and GLI.  

Jose María was in charge of the Tax Compliance area at the Degree in Corporate Compliance at ESADE Business School and is frequently invited for conferences in professional associations, such as the Association of Economists of Catalonia to talk about CRS, FATCA and the current trends in international taxation, such as cryptocurrencies; e-commerce; digital transactions.
